Nice house and beautiful view! I finally got to see the Geocities' pictures! I just can't imagine being able to see mountains from my house!

I only get to see trees and houses from my house, not any mountains! We aren't too far from Lake Michigan, but you can't see it from our house! LOL!

Thanx! We have our frame walk next Thursday. All the wiring, duct work and plumming will be done by then and they'll be ready to start drywall and such. It's really a lot of fun watching it all come together.

Dawn, from the house we're in now we can see the very tip of Pikes Peak from our dining room window. The rest is blocked by houses. But if I go anywhere during the day I can see it all. It really is beautiful here. The first time my mom came to visit us here she was just floored by the mountains. There may be big hills in Michigan, but certainly no mountains! lol Of course we don't have the beautiful lakes they do and the trees aren't as colorful in the fall (there aren't as many trees where I am, either). I'm never seen the Wisconsin side of Lake Michigan, but the Michigan side is beautiful.

The Wisconsin side can be beautiful, too. I have only been to lower MI, once, and that was this past summer, so everything was green.

I got to pick out colors in the house we were going to buy, too. For the 1/2 bath downstairs I picked out the linoleum and the counter top to match. Then when we went through the house, the linoleum they installed wasn't the one I picked. Come to find out, the one I picked had been discontinued. I had to pick a different one, and the counter top had already been installed (correct color). The only other selection I could see that would have looked right made the counter top stick out like a sore thumb. But, apparently, the new buyer didn't mind. It was a single guy.
