Because I can NOT possibly handle my daughter for ONE MORE DAY! The last 3 days have been pure hell and she has been nothing but trouble. She is pushing her limits to see how far she can go before being punished and i've about had it. She's acting out lately for whatever unknown reason. So when i'm cleaning an accident the dog had upstairs and go back downstairs to find my daughter pouring chocolate milk all over the dog and couch, what do I do? If it weren't my kid i'd strangle her but I sent her to her room. I don't know what else to do because my patience has run out. I can't even think of the right way to punish her lately because it's one episode after the next. I NEED this time away from her right about now.

Thanks for letting me vent. I have no idea what else to do.

That is normal for her age, Melissa. And if she's aware there's a baby in the mix, that *could* affect her behavior as well. Vent away!

Ditto Karen and lots of {{{{hugs}}}}. Sounds to me like she is just wanting some extra attention. She probably knows you are getting ready to go on your little vacation as well. Take deep slow breaths :)

My sympathies but I'm with Karen. Two was a breeze for us but when Timmy was almost three, it all broke loose.

God has kept him cute so that I let him live because there are days that I'd just like to shake him.

Well, she probably just thought she was helping. You know, getting the dog a drink and watering the couch or would that be milking the couch? heehee Our dog is always asking for a glass of chocolate milk.

You arent alone most of us have been there. :) Some of us were blessed w/kids that could come up w/ stuff like this on a daily basis for a time. And we havent been locked away yet!!!

I hope you have a great trip. Hope your dd has fun at grandma's too!!!
