We are moving!

We are building a new house! My dh is a builder, so he is loving this! I am happy to say that we are not moving far, maybe about 5 miles from where we are now, and the kids still get to go to the same school as they are now.

We have had our house up on the market for about a month and a half, and we sold it last night! Papers are signed and everything. We move out in 40 days. Unfortunately we had to sell our house before we started the new one, so we will have to move in with my mom for about 6 months ***GASP!!!*** I have a great relationship with mom, but don't want to move back in with her. But we really have no choice. So right now i am not as excited as i want to be. If we had a new house to move into, right from this one, then i would be excited.

Why the sad face in the Subject head? Because i do like the neighborhood, and the school is across the street, we walk to school and walk to the playground in the summer time. So i will be sad to leave all that. I am looking forward to our pretty new neighborhood though.

Good Luck!!! We're having a blast watching our house being built. It'd be more fun to be involved like your dh! We met with our wiring guy yesterday (sound and security)and he's buying the same house we are, but he's getting a spec home. He closes next week. He said, "Can you believe--doing what I do, and I buy a spec house???" lol I told him that was probably a good thing. Our neighbor is an electrition and he wired his own house and MAN did he go overboard! With all the "improvements" he's done to his house, he'll never be able to sell it (he tried a couple years ago--sat there for a year before he finally took it off the market). Congrats, good luck and have fun!

How exciting!! Congratsulations! You'll have to share your houseplan. I am obsessed at looking at houses and houseplans. lol
