My tummys growing! LOL! :)

I'm the member of a pregnancy board with people due in June as well. They have what they call "TP Tuesday" where we measure our stomaches every Tuesday to see how many sheets we've grown. I started out at 7 sheets when finding out I was pregnant. This week I am 10 sheets. Last week I was 9 1/4 sheets. I've grown 3/4 sheet IN A WEEK! I'm soooo calling Dreyers about the Rocky Road ice cream that's doing this to me. SO not fair! Just thought i'd share. I have a prenatal appt in a few hours so i'll update later with how little Nathan is doing and my {{{{gasp}}}} weight gain! I'm guessing 10 pounds by now. We'll see how close I am.

LOL. Well, I am eight sheets.

Not pregnant though.

Your pregnancy has certainly flown by for me!

By Boxzgrl on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 - 04:46 pm:

Some days it seems like it flies by, others not. It's been mostly fun though.

So......

I weighed in at 150 pounds today at my appt! Oops....LOL! I started out at 136 so that's a 14 pound weight gain so far. I guess that 25 pounds I was aiming for went right out the window considering I still have a while left. My midwife wasn't concerned because I had only gained 4 pounds as of my 17 week visit. But that does mean 10 pounds in a month! I'm following the same trend I did with Kaitlyn. Oh well. Aside from that everything looks good with Nathan. I'm measuring on track and at my next visit I get to drink the dreaded orange drink. Yuck!

I'm so glad everything is going well, it's sure flying by. Before we know it we'll be meeting little Nathan!

Good job, Melissa,
Keep eating lots of protein and calcium and you'll be okay. I gained only 19 pounds when I was expecting Helen because I really watched what I ate. It made a huge difference in how I felt, too.

Huh?

By Rayanne on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 - 07:52 am:

She has to take the glucose test, and they give you this really sweet orange drink to drink, then you have yo wait an hour before you can pee.

By Karen~moderator on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 - 09:05 am:

AHH! I *thought* that was what she meant, but that was not routinely done way back in the dark ages when I was pregnant!

By Bellajoe on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 - 10:49 am:

ugh, the dreaded orange drink. You have to gulp it down pretty quickly, if i remember right. And then not pee for a while. It was like drinking warm, flat, orange pop. Blech!

Good luck!

Did ya know that drink comes in different flavors? I hate orange soda, and I ended up throwing the whole thing up. But they also make it in cola and "sprite" flavors, which to me were so much better!
