Melting choc chips

I don't have a double broiler, so what is an easy and quick way to melt choc chips -- I'd like to use the melted choc to dip strawberries in.

Actually it is easied just to put the chips in the microwave- do it for 30 seconds then stir nad then continue in 15 second increments until almost melted completely. Be careful not to overcook or it will break down. Just be sure to stir it in between each time and it is a breeze!

You can also boil water in one pan and place another pan or oven safe bowl in it and keep stirring.

In a sauce pan on low heat while stirring works well.

I always melt chocolate in the microwave! I love it! Softening cream cheese and butter, too, works well.

I'm soooo late on posting this.

We do it in the microwave also. If you want it to stay shiny and smooth, you can add a bit of shortening to it once it's melted. That will help it keep the shine.
