I need a new printer.

Is there such a thing as a printer/photo printer combination.

I know there are printer/scanners, but I'm interested in one that is a regular printer and prints photos.

We do not have a digital camera yet, but may within the next 6 to 9 months.

I have a Cannon 860 color jet printer that prints pictures along with all my other print needs. Our son has a color laser that prints amazing quality photos.

Yes! I have an HP Photosmart 7760 that's about 2 yrs. old. It';s wonderful!! It has an LCD screen, spots for every kind of media card, and you don't need the computer to print photos. If I have a quickie photo I need, I just insert my media card, it shows it on the LCD, and I can crop and create different sizes from there. I love it! I'm sure there's an updated version of this now, as I said, mine is about 2. The photos are outstanding and it's very easy to use.
