I know this may come across as a really dumb question but I'm not that computer savy.

How would I go about posting a photo here?

Then on the next page, click on browse. Find your picture, click ok, then submit. When the page reloads, your picture should be there.

It has to be less then 50K. When you find your picture file, you can right-click, go to properties and that will tell you the file-size of your picture.

Make sure it's the \ slash and not the /slash.

Type as follows:

\ image {name of photo}

Don't include the spaces as I did.

Make sure you resize your photo before posting. I resize in photoshop, some people use paint brush. I ususally save the photo I want to post to my desk top so it's easy to find.

Then hit preview, you will see a browse button, hit that button and attach your photo.

Then hit Upload.

Dawn or Heaventree, when I attempt to post a photo, after hitting the preview button I do not get a browse button. My preview message simply shows the "Your image here" box. Could you please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Here's what it says on the formatting page:

Upon posting, you are prompted for an image file to upload. Images must be either GIF or JPEG format. Images must be saved on your hard disk. Your browser must support form-based file upload (Netscape Navigator 2.0+ and Internet Explorer 4.0+ support this; IE 3.02 will also work provided that you have installed the file upload patch).

Kiki, if you look to the menu on the left of the screen you click on *formatting* and scroll down to Images. It gives you the instructions there. I would suggest you just print that info and keep it by your computer. Even after following these instructions some of us STILL can have problems posting. lol So dont feel DUMB at all!!!! If all else fails just email your photos to Dawnk, Karen, or someone. They are always very kind about posting pic's for people.

The hardest part is resizing your pic small enough to upload to the site. Do you have a software that you use to make your pics smaller?

Kiki, don't feel bad! My husband works with computers for a living, and it took him awhile to figure out how to post a picture here.
