Ebay story

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion Archive: Archive February 2006: Ebay story
By Dawnk777 on Thursday, February 2, 2006 - 06:00 pm:

I wanted a certain item for one of my kids, for her birthday. I found it easily enough, on Ebay, and made a bid! Then, I noticed the guy lived in Thailand, but no biggy, since he said he did international shipping.

So, the other day, I send him a message to ask if he shipped it. He wrote back and said he had, but that it takes about 2 weeks. Auction was over on Jan 18th and we got the item today. I'm very happy. For some reason, his account was deleted, which he mentioned in his email about the shipping, so now I can't leave feedback. Oh well. I just feel unfinished, since I can't leave feedback. I did email him, though, to tell him that we received the item. It was a DVD the kid wanted. Is all wrapped up and never opened.

My transaction went smoothly, but I feel stupid for not looking at the location first!

Hehe, that happens to me all the time too. I get so excited that I've found something fabulous, and I hurry and bid before checking out the locations, etc.

I have ordered a CD from the UK before, and it took about a week to get here. All was fine with it, though.

I would feel worse that I couldn't leave feedback. Glad you got your item.
