Bea, I have a Williamsburg question for you

I know you are from Williamsburg.

We love Williamsburg and we try to travel to Williamsburg/Virginia Beach area twice a year. Dh was stationed in Norfolk we feel like it's our second home.

Have you hear about Great Wolf Lodge?

I saw and ad on tv for it the other day and was wondering if you saw or heard about it and if so any opinions?

Looks great, little pricey but looks like it would be fun in the winter time.

TIA:)

Hi Marg, Bea is in Newport News, close to Williamsburg. I have heard good things about the Great Wolf Lodge. My daughters girlscout troop is suppose to go up there one day in the summer. Your right it is pricey. Isnt it over 250$ a night?
We live in Va beach,so we have a further drive to get to Williamsburg.

Jackie have you physically seen the place?

I went to the website and there are so many different rooms at various prices, it's like Disney, lol.

We'd live in Williamsburg if we could. But we've lived all our lives in the same area, except for dh being in the Navy.

I saw the prices starting at $179 (special) but I have no idea what the rooms look like.

Is it worth it for one night? I'm not sure.

We try to go to Williamsburg on our anniversary (this year is our 20th). I really wanted to go to Hawaii. But it will have to wait a year or two.

Apparently whoever owns great wolf owns a chain of them.

Thanks Jackie.

The rooms are rustic and some have adult areas and kids spaces, with bunk beds. Some have whirlpool tubs. The water park is fantastic. If you go to http://williamsburg.greatwolflodge.com and click on rooms then click on the left menu, you can see the size and layouts of each room they offer. Call me when you get here. I'd love to meet you for lunch.

You're too sweet Bea.

Have you actually been to the place.

I know stupid questions, I'm like my mom when it comes to motels/hotels/ and resorts. A little picky and I like to know what I'm getting us into.

Thanks Bea.

We have a similar place in Sheboygan. The rooms are quite expensive, too. It looks nice inside, but I haven't seen any rooms. It also has a nice waterpark attached to the place. We have been to the waterpark several times.

Blue Harbor

Blue Harbor is owned by the Great Wolf Resorts.

I haven't stayed there, but relatives have, and we've visited them there. They loved their stay, and had nothing but praise for their accommodations.
