I survived Turbo Tax all by myself with two W-2's and two 1099-MISC forms! I've probably gained a few gray hairs in the process but I'M DONE!!!!!

Cool! We have done the Turbo Tax thing! I loved it! Then last year, DH wanted to do the taxes with an accountant, because of inheriting money after his dad died and stuff. The accountant is kind of a luddite and after electronically filing the last few years, we had to actually mail our stuff in. (Grrr.) I suppose the accountant will do them again for us. Not sure. We haven't talked about it yet.

My dh uses Turbo Tax but I have never attempted to do our tax return. I keep track of the finances all year then turn over the papers to dh so he can file for us.

Just did mine yesterday.

If anybody is interested IRS provides weblinks to tax softwares you can just file online.

Just did ours yesterday and it was accepted last night.

Enough time to receive the refund before our anniversary

Pennsylvania also offers its own free efile if anyone is interested.

I think we will be doing this or something like it next year. H&R block is just too expensive, I'd like to try and see if we can do our own next year!!!

We did ours last week at H&R block. It was only a $90 fee. Not too bad.
We chose not to do the rapid refund, because the bank fee's for that are ridiculous. So, we are waiting the 2 weeks for the refund check to show up.

I looked at Turbo Tax and went running! Having your own incorporated business it's insane to do your own taxes!
Our appointment for taxes is 6pm, Sat evening with the wife of a man who worked for the government auditing taxes. She knows EVERY way to get a refund.

We've used Turbo Tax for 4 years or so. It's been great for us. I think this will be the last year we can do that, due to this trust thing with Hal's folks' estate.

Gary still wants the accountant to do our taxes again this year and probably next year, too.

I kind of miss going through Turbo Tax. Oh well. *deep sigh*

He is still worried about messing things up, since he got money from his dad's estate.
