HI, all. I know I haven't really been on much lately. I've been dealing with our new home. Not just settling in and decorating, but I've actually had so many repairpersons in our home I just have to laugh. My oven, microwave, kitchen sink, filter system (2) all went on the fritz. Dh and FIL are going to fix my kitchen sink tomorrow (hopefully). We went out this weekend to pick the new faucet for it. The oven and microwave need parts, so that won't be fixed for a couple of weeks. We are also still waiting for a mattress that was ordered a month ago and a whole bunch of stuff. Is this normal when moving into a house? It just seems that so much has gone wrong after our initial "honeymoon" phase. My dh and I joke about it a lot but it does wear on us. Our checkbook isn't very happy about all this either.
Anyway, just wanted to update you all on what we were up to over here.

Are these things not covered under warranty? I know the first yr we were in our house the builder had to send several people out to do little things for us at no charge. (painter left some spots on trim, brick crew left and didnt sac our front steps, etc...)

Just curious what brand your appliances are?
