Did you notice a difference in the odor of the semen after your husband's vasectomy? I am talking about a day later when it comes out? (sorry,very graphic) Now, more than ever I will smell a strong odor after a day or so and we now use condoms because I can't go in public smelling like that. What could be the problem? I told my DH that I am allergic to him!!!!

No difference noticed after V here, and no strong odors later. This would be a good question for your OB/Gyn.

DH hasn't had a vasectomy but I've noticed a difference in the odor in the last few years. I'm not sure what has triggered it but I have to wash very carefully and usually use a scented pantyliner the next day to absorb any odor. I hate it.

I always wash with Summers Eve Feminine Wash. I love that stuff! Soap is drying for me and makes me itchy and doesnt knock out odors.

I always thought the odor of the semen could change with what the guy eats?? I cant remember where I heard that tho.

Odor after Sex can be a sign of Bacterial Vagniosis- on your part, it is common and sort of like yeast in that you just get it- it is nothing you or your Dh did. Unlike yeast Monistat or over the counter meds won't fix it you need an antibiotic. Maybe call your OB/GYN to get a culture or wet prep done.

Ive always had some sort of odor after sex. I even asked the dr about it, she did not find anything wrong with me. Basically all she said was that everybody has their own unique odor LOL...
I can not stand the leaks or the odor afterwards either.

I have no odor after sex if we use a condom. It is only if he ejaculates inside me. I know that I don't have any ifections, its just the day after sex when there is an odor.
