Burning the oil or burning the money?

The good news is we will have heat for the holidays. The bad news is that it costs me so darn much! LOL

I hear ya.

The other day someone was talking about a type of stove that burns bails of hay. Since hay prices have been so low here for our local farmers...it would be cheaper.

We don't have oil but natural gas. The price is ridicious.

Ahhh...no. Winter months are the "cheap" months for us. Try running the a/c full blast for 10 months of the year. Our monthly utility bill is pushing $300. When we turn on the heat it drops considerably. Of course, the grass is always greener...
