So I think its just me. But, this year, are you all getting the same amount of Christmas cards you normally do, or getting less, or getting more?

Jackie, we're getting less than usual too. I was talking with someone at work about this the other day. So far "less" seems to be the general consensus. I think people are getting too busy. And some are just cards with preprinted signatures---why bother? Then again, we haven't sent any out because we are doing New Year's cards instead so....
About the same. I sent out a few less this year, last year I sent out about 80 and this year only about 70. But then my kids sent out 18 also so i guess it averages out...
So far, I have gotten way less than I normally do. I sent out about the same number.
Less. But I also sent out a lot less than normal. About 1/4 of what I usually send.
I sent out 61 cards & have only gotten back 20, but then most that I send to send theirs out late.
We have recv'd less as well this yr. Interesting!! I thought it was just us. lol

Yes, definetely less and to be honest i am pleased because i never know what to do with them afterwards. I also gave out a lot less than last year.
Less, but most of the ones we are getting are "picture" Christmas cards and I love seeing pictures of folks!
About the same for us. I send out about 60, will do so tomorrow. I have received about 40 so far.
Definitely less. I polled my sister and she said less as well.
Less. And I also like to get picture cards of family or the kids.
We got less - matter of fact, we got more from people on THIS BOARD than anyone else! But I didn't mail cards out this year.
Karen, I don't think anyone will wonder why they aren't getting a card from you, I think if anyone has a good excuse for not mailing you are on the top of that list. I have received less cards this year, for sure.. I also have mailed out less cards. I am having a hard time getting into the holidays this year. I am going shopping today and I am usually done far before now. I just can't feel it this year, for some reason. There are so many things that could be causing the Christmas Blahs but I know that I am not the only one... A lot of the people I have spoken too have said the same thing. Just don't feel like celebrating this year.. Sending the cards I did was like going through the motions of doing it...
Well, count me in there with the Blahs.....and yes, I know many others who feel the same way this year too.....I can't wait for next Christmas. This is normally my favorite holiday, and I am usually WAY ahead of things with my tree, plans, gifts, etc. and normally love having a crowd at my home for Christmas. I just can't get into it at all this year and want it to be over.
We are getting less, even my business, we usually get one from each vendor, and I've maybe recieved 6 this year, which is OK, I really don't need 20 calenders
