Remember the deliver people regarding snow/sleet/ice

We had a freezing rain/sleet situation a couple of days ago.

Nothing melted and you can not shovel it. So we have a curved, uphill driveway that I salted but it did very little (since the driveway is not in direct sunlight and it is so cold) but I felt at least we could get out of the driveway.

Today, I received an unexpected visit from the Fed Ex Man. He knocked on the door and left the package. I went out, he was already on the sidewalk and unto the driveway, I said "Thank you and happy holidays."

He said "Thank you for remembering to salt and shovel. Most people don't and this causes delivery people alot of problems."

He is the nicest Fed Ex person you could meet. And I felt bad for not clearing it better. We just don't get a lot of visitors.

So remember the delivery people Fed Ex, UPS, USPS, avon ladies, etc. when bad weather comes.
