Non Slip Tights?

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion Archive: Archive November 2005: Non Slip Tights?
By Amecmom on Friday, November 18, 2005 - 01:21 pm:

Does anyone know where I can get infant girl tights (18 to 24 month size) that have non slip soles - like grippy socks?
Helen just won't keep her socks on and I don't want her feet bare all winter, even inside. I also don't want her wearing shoes all day, because that's not good for her development.
Thanks for any ideas!

You can make your own using fabric paint. We made slipper socks at my dd's slumber party like that. Wash and dry the tights, but don't use fabric softener. Cut a pieces of cardboard the size of the bottom of your dd's foot and place in the foot of the tights. Use puff fabric paint and paint on the bottom of the foot. You can do squiggles, pawprints, dots, any design you want. You can match the design on the tights to outfits you have if you want to. Let the tights dry at least 24 hours before using them and wait 72 hours before washing.
