Back from NY and Amish Country!

DH and I got back last night. We had a great trip. New York was great, Spamalot was hilarious, and I got my picture made with Rupert Jee when we ate at Hello Deli. I could definitely get used to Manhattan!! Then we had a week's sabbatical (literally) at a B&B in Amish country, Ohio. Very relaxing and wonderful time spent with each other and alone with God. The weather was nice the entire time. Back home and the reality of much homework from a missed week at school awaits me. Fortunately my house is even cleaner than when I left thanks to my cleanaholic mom. We really missed the boys and won't be gone that long for a long time. We can't wait to take them to NY with us next time. I'll post a link to pics when DH finishes loading them. Much more info on my blog if you're interested, but don't want to bore you all here.

I'm glad you had a good time! I can't imagine being able to go on a trip with DH, just by ourselves! Niagara with the girls, was fun, too, though!

I really want to go to NY again someday. My family forefathers were one of the original settlers of Staten Island. The original house(Stillmon-Billiou house)is still standing. And,according to the net,is a tourist attraction.I went there when I was a teenager, but I didn't know about our family connections,or I would have looked for the house.

I've never been to NY, so I enjoyed reading your blog. What a great trip! And it will be great to see your photos.
