Do you make your own cards?

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion Archive: Archive November 2005: Do you make your own cards?

I was thinking of buying a kit to make my own cards this year, but I'm not sure yet. Do you have a card maker? What do you use?

By Emily7 on Friday, November 4, 2005 - 03:39 pm:

I use a Hallmark card maker & print them out. I like it because I can add my own pictures. I know that my parents & grandmother love getting them.

I'm a stamper, so until last year I always stamped my own Christmas cards. Last year, we sent a photo and a newsletter on purchased Christmas computer paper. This year though, I think we're going to send photo cards through Snapfish, along with a note.

I got the software at WalMart.

I make all my own cards and announcements using Publisher. I really enjoy doing them. I usually print them on photo paper and they look very professional

I use card stock for my cards, and I print my own pics. Everyone seems to love them, and it's so simple.

I use Publisher too! I love it! It is a very easy program to navigate and the results are always good!

I mkae all my cards, invites, thank yous and etc. I have the Hallmark Card Studio maker on my computer and it's great. That reminds me I had better start on my Christmas Cards.

I usually buy Christmas cards, but I use my card maker to make birthday, thank you, invitations, etc.

But, and this is off your point I think, I have been looking at some craft books and I think that dd and I are going to craft make some, if not all, of our Christmas cards this year. They are so cute using her handprint to make angels, or other things.
