tonight? I always love to read what others are having and get some new ideas.
We are having meatloaf, potatoes and carrots.
Easy 1 pan meal in the oven bag:)

By Juli4 on Friday, October 28, 2005 - 07:08 pm:

Very tasty and makes good leftovers

By Colette on Friday, October 28, 2005 - 07:29 pm:

something real simple, like takeout pizza. Dh is mountain biking in Utah so that means I have to cook. Yuck!

By Vicki on Friday, October 28, 2005 - 07:43 pm:

Dh picked up pizza and hot wings!

By Annie2 on Friday, October 28, 2005 - 07:55 pm:

Smorgasboard...aka leftovers. I cooked all week so there is alittle bit of everyone's favorites left in the fridge.

By Heaventree on Friday, October 28, 2005 - 07:58 pm:

We had steak, mashed potatoes and fried mushrooms. Finally something good!

By Boxzgrl on Friday, October 28, 2005 - 08:49 pm:

Add me to the pizza list! We're waiting for it to get here and my tummy is grumbling over the stuffed crust. I'm so hungry, lol! Oh, to make it sound "healthy" I threw in a salad, LMBO!

By Kateg on Friday, October 28, 2005 - 09:31 pm:

Leftovers here from last night's Halloween Theme Dinner.

By Luvn29 on Friday, October 28, 2005 - 09:35 pm:

Subway subs! I was exhausted after a hectic week at the school! And I still had to go to the grocery store. And a Halloween carnival tomorrow that the school is having. And I am in charge of kids' Halloween "snack" at school on monday. Ugh! So much but I love this holiday!

By Unschoolmom on Friday, October 28, 2005 - 11:28 pm:

Pizza.

It was going to be this excellent pot pie made with gravy, hamburger, leftover and sauteed veggies. But then I put it in the pyrex dish and set it on the stove until I could make the pastry. Set it on the element that was hot, that is. So dinner exploded.

If anyone has a casserole dish alternative that doesn't explode on hot elements please let me know because I have lost several dishes this way in the past few years. I'm too clumsy and distracted for Pyrex. :)

I have a pot of ham and bean soup on the stove. It's been cooking since yesterday and finally all the meat fell off the ham bome. It should be good.:)

Beef and cheese taco ring, salad, and chips.

By Colette on Sunday, October 30, 2005 - 08:33 pm:

God, I can't wait for dh to get home. I am the worst cook ever. It's been pretty much potluck or takeout since he left.

By Kaye on Monday, October 31, 2005 - 08:06 am:

Dawn, you have to go with metal dishes to keep that from happening :)

By Imamommyx4 on Monday, October 31, 2005 - 09:58 am:

We always have chili and corn chips and Brownies on Halloween. Not sure why it started but now it's what we do.

By Angellew on Monday, October 31, 2005 - 10:04 am:

We thought ahead and made a big Coca-Cola ham yesterday and some corn pudding/bread!!!! This way, everything is done! We can do the Halloween parade and trick or treating and have dinner whenever!!!!

By Conni on Monday, October 31, 2005 - 02:37 pm:

LOL Colette!

It's raining, cool and dreary here so we are having Beef Stew, cornbread, and I will make cupcakes and let the boys decorate. We have to get that pumpkin carved too... *blushing* we have been gone all weekend.

By Boxzgrl on Monday, October 31, 2005 - 02:48 pm:

Not sure what we're having yet. It's about 80 degrees outside and I was going to make chili but it might be a tad too hot for that, lol. I'll figure something out. Maybe something quick for DD like Mac N Cheese since she'll be too eager to go out trick or treating.

By Annie2 on Monday, October 31, 2005 - 07:09 pm:

I picked up tv dinners for the kids to make themselves while I helped everyone get ready!
