I think I would like to give Tai Chi a try and I have dh talked into trying it with me (dd wants to try it too). I just ordered a begining Tai Chi dvd to see if we like it before possibly siging up for classes.

Have any of you taken Tai Chi classes or done it at home and did/do you like it?

I did Tai Chi in a high school gym class and LOVED it! I'd still love to do it but it's only offered for seniors in this area. I found it very relaxing, yet my muscle tone was awesome while doing it. Let us know how you like it.

My mom is 70, and she takes tai chi. She finds it a bit confusing because there are so many moves, but she enjoys it.

My dad was taking a tai chi class for a while. I think he enjoyed it, too.

My mom and I did a class of it a couple of years ago. I was never able to completely relax and clear my mind. But then, I'm not good at that with Yoga or meditation so I'm sure that's why I didn't do well.
