Weight Watchers Recipe cards from 1974. No these are not a joke ... hard to believe.
cards.
No these are no joke... though you'll really wish they were! Scroll to the bottom and read/watch the virutal tour. WARNING! Some profanity in the commentary next to the cards. If profanity offends you, please do not visit this site.

It says the page can't be displayed.

By Cybermommyx4 on Saturday, October 8, 2005 - 03:33 pm:

I was able to view it by typing in the url, www.candyboots.com

VERY funny! NO WONDER people were skinnier back then, lol! I've lost my appetite, too :)

Sorry - it's fixed now:). Thanks.

OMG, that was hilarious!!! Just sent it to a weight loss group I'm on. :)

By Imamommyx4 on Saturday, October 8, 2005 - 09:09 pm:

It's amazing that WW survived despite those recipes!

By Marcia on Saturday, October 8, 2005 - 09:29 pm:

It's amazing that the people who used them survived. LOL

FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY

I'm far more offended that someone actually thought that someone might eat that stuff, than by the profanity on the one page! Ewwwwwwwww! The thought of canned green beans in a jello was almost enough to make me want to puke!

By Kernkate on Saturday, October 8, 2005 - 11:33 pm:

One word comes to mind....EWWWWWWW!

I laughed so hard at these that my stomach ached! My husband thought I had just lost my mind. Tears were rolling down my face.

Then again, I have a very warped sense of humor and thought some of the commentary was hilarious!

Sarah and I laughed very hard, too. I'm surprised that my DH didn't come to see why!

By Coopaveryben on Sunday, October 9, 2005 - 12:32 am:

I had the best time looking at these! Thanks for posting.

My favorite is the frozen coffee on the stick. Too delicious.

By Amecmom on Sunday, October 9, 2005 - 08:57 am:

Ditto Dawn! But I felt I had to mention the use of bad language, just in case ...
The food for sure warrants the profanity.

Actually, I did show the pictures to my 13yo, too, despite the profanity, because the pictures are just disgusting. We also laughed very hard! (My kids know not to swear.)

By Nicki on Sunday, October 9, 2005 - 01:21 pm:

Ame, I haven't laughed this hard in a long time! Thanks for posting these. My favorite were the coffee popsicles, too. The commentaries are hilarious!

Thanks!

You're welcome! I guess these recipies are good for something after all. You certainly can't eat them :)
