Ever have one of those days and I'm sure everyone has where you just don't want to leave the house? It is cloudy, windy, and looks like it may rain and I don't want to go!!! I feel like a big baby today! Oh well, I guess we all have one of those days now and then!!! Have a good one.....!

The weather has cooled off here & it's just that perfect day to have a cup of hot cocoa, wear my favorite flannel pj pants, comfy suede t-shirt, and just chill with favorite tv programs & a good book. So, yeah...it's one of those days here, too...But, alas, the power of the almighty dollar & bills drew me into work.

I don't want to go to work either. I want to call in sick and take a personal day and curl up with a book - oh that's right ... I can't call in sick. There are no sick days or *mental health days* or personal days for a full time mommy!

Oh, I already went to work and had to sit outside for 2 20-minute periods watching kids at recess! My silly co-workers only wore sweatshirts. I had a sweatshirt and my spring jacket, along with a hat, so I was comfy. They were freezing.

I had kindergarteners outside with just cotton shirts and windbreakers! I couldn't believe it. My kids would have been sent with the cotton shirt a sweatshirt AND a jacket. Those kids had to have been freezing!

A 2nd grader who lives in my neighborhood was at the bus-stop this morning in just a long-sleeved cottons shirt. No sweater and no jacket. It was 47, when she got on the bus. It was 52, when I was at school for lunch. It is also mighty windy, with a northwest wind!

Yeap, 3-day weekend for me, too! I don't work at either of my jobs tomorrow, DH doesn't work on Fridays and kids have off from school. We are going to drive the state forest near our house and climb the tower to look at leaves tomorrow!

See the path up to the tower? It's a huge hill you have to climb first! Then you climb the tower, too! LOL! The picture doesn't do the climb justice!
