I picked up some NY strip steaks from the meat market. DH is going to BBQ these. I'll make some baked potatoes and corn on the cob. MMmmm!
I have a real craving for shrimp cocktail but I didn't want to make another stop. :)

Have a Brisket in the oven and it smells so yummy!

Think we're eating out tonight....it's been dreary and rainy here all day and just LAZY. I think we're going to be bad and do fast food!

By Boxzgrl on Sunday, September 25, 2005 - 05:50 pm:

No Clue! Probably won't make anything big tonight. Maybe leftovers? I'm too tired to care... getting sick really drains me.

My sil is coming over for dinner and we are having rotisserie chicken, onion & chive mashed potatoes, honey glazed carrots, and a salad. The chicken has been in the rotisserie oven for an hour and a half now and the house smells so good!

Whatever dh wants to make. Choice between grilled pizza w/carmelized onions, spinach, chicken, and fresh mozzarella or steak tips w/whatever.

not a clue... all stores are closed and I don't have much so whatever is around.

By Heaventree on Sunday, September 25, 2005 - 06:31 pm:

UCK! My MIL is here, my mom went home :(. When my mom was here we had great dinners every night.

Tonight we had cabbage rolls, just what a breastfeeding mom with a child who has gas needs! She made broccoli and chicken fingers to go with it. YUCK, YUCK, YUCK.

I know I should be happy that someone is here making dinner, but Matt and I only eat chicken fingers when we are desperate and there is nothing else in the house.

It's going to be a long 3 weeks. She wants to make cabbage soup with the left over cabbage, I think I'll have to throw out that cabbage by mistake tonight :).

Three weeks! Yikes!

My 11 year made dinner. We had grilled steak, homemade mac-n-cheese and chocolate cake.

Today, we had Culver's, since I had to work from 10:45am until 4:10 pm.

Why didn't you ask this on Thursday? I had to work until close that night, so I had sweet/sour chicken going in the crockpot, for the kids, since Dad may or may not come home for supper. Then, when I come home from work, it's nice to have something to eat, since I'm always hungry when I get home (usually eat a sandwich or something around 4pm, at work)

By Jelygu on Sunday, September 25, 2005 - 07:50 pm:

We had spaghetti and garlic bread :)

By Mrsheidi on Sunday, September 25, 2005 - 07:55 pm:

Heaventree, you crack me up! LOL
We had grilled steak, brown rice, and salad.
YUM! :)

By Dawnk777 on Sunday, September 25, 2005 - 08:21 pm:

Heaventree, I like cabbage in small doses. that sounds like WAY too much cabbage to me, especially for a breastfeeding mom. Then she gave you broccoli, too! Yikes!

MrsHeidi, your supper sounds yummy!

By Nicki on Sunday, September 25, 2005 - 11:33 pm:

Cabbage soup, LOL. Sounds too much like my MIL.
Sorry your mom had to go home!
