Do you all remember a few years ago, that intern who worked for a New York senator who went missing? He was married and older and was the prime suspect in her disappearance.

I just watched a new program called Bones and they obviously used this story for the show, although some of the details were different.

Was he ever charged and did they ever find out what happened to her? I can't remember her name.

They did find her, Chandra Levy. I'm not sure what happened in the case, though most people think he killed her and got away with it. She was found in the woods of DC, I believe, by a jogger.

I thought this was based on the intern for CA that went missing. She was from my town and I am distantly related to the senator. There was never enough evidence found for him to be linked to her murder but her body was found buried in a park in Washington, D.C. Is that what you were thinking of?

I don't know why I thought New York, it was the Chandra Levy case I was thinking of though. So her case was never solved? Sad.
