I love the cd of his that I have. It is not something that I would have normally listened to, but saw him perform on GMA last year. I am very interested in getting other cd's of the same genre. Does anyone have any suggestions? The cd of his that I have is almost worn out. LOL

I think Bea, and maybe Claire too, like Josh Groban, I know Bea has been to his shows.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE his voice. It touches my soul! I have two of his CD's and I love them. I don't care too much for the songs in languages that I don't understand, but, the ones in English are awesome! I discovered him when he sang a duet with Charlotte Church on one of her CD's. I think his style is so unique that it is hard to place him into one genre. I have never heard a male voice so powerful and touching.

Sorry I couldn't help with any suggestions, I just wanted you to know that I share your interest in his music.

:)

Oh, just an afterthought. I have never listened to this CD, but I saw the performers from the movie "Phantom of the Opera" on GMA and those songs were similar. Maybe you could go to the music store and listen to some samples from the soundtrack from that movie. You might like that....

Thank you so much for the suggestion Katherine.
His voice touches me too. When I am having a bad day I put that in & crank it up, it makes me want a bubble bath & a glass of wine.

Isn't his voice wonderful? My MIL gave me one of his CD's for...something. Anyway, I didn't listen to it for a long time because I figured it wouldn't be "my thing". But was I blown away when I heard it. I'm actually fortunate to be able to understand some of his songs in the other languages, they are very beautiful.

Andrea Bocelli's recordings are all in that same pop tenor style. He has an amazing voice. There are also two latin tenors whoes names I can't remember who are also good, I'll post them later.
Isn't there something about a pure, stong tenor voice that just reaches down deep and touches your soul?
