I hate to say, but I'm embarrassed to ask! It's just really itchy down there and I can't think that it could be anything else? I've never used a yeast infection cream or anything. So what do u use?

Get a Rx from your gynecologist. One pill and you are all set. I can't remember what the pill is, but it's quick and easy.

I hate medication. I can also never tell the difference between a yeast or uti. I take cranberry pills with tons of water for 2 days and if the symptoms don't get better I assume it's yeast and get Monistat.

Diflucan - one pill, works wonders, call your GYN and ask for an Rx for it.

And if you use OTC, use the 3-day treatment, not the 1-day ones - the 3-day is more effective. And it has the cream for the external areas.

Also, take acidopholous, eat yogurt with live cultures. Avoid carbs/sugar, as yeast thrives on those. And finally, white, cotton undies are best to wear during that time.

I get these while I am pregnant, for some reason. I just insert 2 acidolopholous capsules at night before I go to bed and I take one by mouth in the morning. It's usually gone pretty quickly.

If it is bad, you should only wear white, cotton panties and you can iron the crotch section before putting them on to kill any bacteria that survived the washer and drier.

Ditto, Pam, for what NOT to eat! I would try to find a yogurt with less sugar than most.

Hope that helps.

Ditto Karen on everything, especially...Don't try the one day treatment, they don't work.

You've gotten all there is ... just feel better!

Old timey fave, gross but it works--buttermilk douches.
When all the medical stuff fails, I've used the buttermilk douche and finally gotten better.

It could be jock itch. You get get that from swim suits. The treatment is lotrimin.

Or it could be an infection.

or a yeast infection.

or something else...
