Ideas for a baby shower

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion Archive: Archive September 2005: Ideas for a baby shower

For those of you who had a shower for your second baby...what are some good ideas? 2 of my neighbors are expecting and we are throwing a surprise shower for them both (guys invited).
They both have girls that are about 3 years old and one couple is having a boy and the other couple does not know what gender their baby is.

Ideas?

Also...the couple that doesn't know what gender their baby is, they *are* registered at Target and have put the letters "A G L N O" as a baby name possibility for a girl. (Purple letters that hang on the wall.) I'm trying to figure out what name they are going to pick...I can't figure it out right now.

Logan?? I think of a boy with that name, but these days, you never know!!

Well, for a boy I would have thought Logan, but on a baby site it says that it could go for either sex. I can't seem to think of any other name.

My friend had a surprise shower for her second one and it was called a Baby Sprinkle.

What kind of ideas are you looking for?

We have a couple of little girls in the school where I work with the name Logan. I like it for either. I have a cousin (boy) also who is named Logan.

hhhmmm...duh. Logan is the older daughter's name. I wonder if they left it on there as an option?

I suppose I'm looking for ideas for the new babies...something useful that they don't have already.

I think that your best bet would be to do a gift certificate. If I wasn't sure of what to get, that is what I would get. HTH.
