School Shopping *vent*

I wish I didn't have to do it this year - prices for EVERYTHING are so high! I do try to shop for their clothes on a year-round basis, but they need a few new outfits each for the first week, at least...and then there's the school *supplies* GRRRRRRRRRR. There's not enough money in the budget for the regular expenses, and I'm supposed to fit this in, too?! I know it will all work out...it always does. But I don't look forward to it at all this year. Thanks for listening! :)

I found stuff to be more expensive this year. So much that, I bought ds a couple of Union Bay shirts and then found the same shirts at kohls for 1/2 price, so I bought those and am returning the original shirts. I think we all are going to find prices on everything going up due to gas prices.

Ditto, bought school supplies, new backpack, lunchbox. Now both ds and dd need new shoes too.
Son needed 1 book, $170!

I finally just finished up school shopping for 3! Tom's going back to college tomorrow, Brett will be going into 5th grade and Alissa to Pre-K on Monday, and I have to agree prices are crazy!!!
I did get some really great deals in JC Penney's last week for Alissa. Brett is an Old Navy person, which I hate the store. Today we finished up at Walmart. I couldn't find jeans to fit Brett anywhere and low and behold Walmart has 5 different ones that fit him great!!
So I am done for now.
Need 2 more jobs just to afford school!

Well, kids didn't need backpacks or calculators and they just take brown bags for lunches. So, we only had to buy paper, pencils, pens, folders, and notebooks.

I'm sure clothes will kill us, though, since the 16yo will want to be stylish!
