Have you seen the Target back-to-school commercial lately? I can't help but bust out laughing when I see that they have little children dancing to a song that once had lyrics that stated "I like big butts and I cannot lie. You other brothers can't deny..."

These poor kids...they have no idea where that recycled song came from!!! LOL

Have you seen it yet? Gave me a funny chuckle today...

I haven't seen it but that is too funny. Although, when my brother was 12 (he's 14 now) he was listening to a mixed CD that had that song on it! I couldn't believe it. He said all his friends like it. LOL! (He also had that "I wear my sunglasses at night" song on there!)

I haven't seen that one yet but it sounds hilarious.
I loved the back to school commercial last year with the father dancing through the Office Depot (I think) while a Christmas song played. :)

Back to school is a bittersweet moment!

Oh, but little kids DO know that song. It's on Shrek (1) at then end---Donkey sings it. My kids always thought the lyrics were "I like big butts and I cannot lie. You other brothers can't deny, when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist and a round thing in your face you get---Feelings, whoa, oh--oh feelings" because the Shrek version is a medley of songs. Unfortunately, they have heard the real version since. :(

Ross and Rachel sang it to Emma on Friends. My kids think it's a laugh.
We don't have Target here, which is a total bummer, so I haven't seen the ad.

LOL, Pam! I forgot that it IS on Shrek!! And, also Friends!! LOL
I just laugh so hard when they have these 7 and 8 year olds dancing to the beat and I have these memories in my head of spring break when I was dancing to the same music (only in a different fashion)!! (Blushing)

I was cleaning the house with the t.v. on and that Target commercial came on and I stopped dead in my tracks..LOL too funny, Oh and I love it on Friends!!

I think on the commercial it is "i like back packs and i can not lie" or something like . That did crack me up when i first saw that commercial.

It was cute on friends.

Annie, that is one of my all time fav commercials....he is happily dancing thru the store with the cart and "its the most wonderful time of the year...." is playing! I sing that everytime its time to go back to school! We first saw that one several years ago in IL.

Kayla loves that song and Kyle knows it too because the older kids listen to crap like that....Kayla always says "Oh my GOD Becky, look at her BUTT!" *sigh* Just what I need!
