Raya started throwing up around 7:30. Within the hour, she threw up 4 times. I don't know what to do. Is there anything I can give her? I really don't want to give her formula(or don't know if I should). She's asleep right now. Any suggestions?

When my other ones were that small and sick I think the doctor said pedialyte instead of formula. I hope she gets better soon.

Thanks. yeah, I just talked to her doctor and he said to do the Pedialyte. Thanks!

Hope she's better soon. Watch her carefully, they can dehydrate quickly at that age. If she starts throwing up the pedialyte call the dr.

She's better! Thanks for the well wishes. She stopped throwing up right after I posted that. We're slowly adding the formula back in. She seems to be doing fine now though.

I am glad she is feeling better. It is so scary when they are that small and get sick.

Sarah had a rotavirus, when she was 7 months old. I ended up calling the doctor, because it seemed like she was having crampy pain. She would cry out in pain and by better and cry out in pain and be better. He said to stop feeding her formula and just give her pedialyte. She chowed down about 10 ounces of pedialyte! Then the next day, give her diluted formula, then whole formula and then start on food. Anyways, after a day off of formula, you could tell she was better. I went back to food a little sooner than the doctor said, because she seemed so much better and she was hungry! That was not a fun time! Fortunately, it only lasted about 3-4 days.
