for his 2nd year, this year he will be in with 5 other guys in a on campus apartment.
I want to get him something really special for his apartment. He has been a godsent with my broken wrist. Any ideas???

Do these guys cook at all? Do they have a DVD player? You can get them something for the kitchen, like a coffee pot, or small microwave, or a blender, or you can get a cheap DVD player at Target or Wal Mart or Best Buy.......

What are his interests or likes or dislikes?

You could also get him something *special* for his bedroom.....

I got him a crockpot already, they have a microwave.
He loves his guitar and Pearl Jam. Maybe a special poster framed for his room might be an idea??

This might not work, but do they have a Sony Playstation in the apt? If so a really nice dance pad (DDR=Dance Dance Revolution) would be fun. My nephew has one in his room in college (he lives at the fraternity) and the kids love it. They're really good at it. Actually, they have two, so they can compete with each other. They cost around $100 on ebay for a really good one. You have to get the really sturdy metal one. Another thing my nephew likes is the George Foreman cooker thingy.
