Next Wednesday, July 20th, is mine and Chris' 10 year Anniversary from when we started being a couple. I really want to get him something cute, but have no earthly idea as to what to get him. I was thinking about a DVD that he's been wanting, but I don't know. Can you ladies help me out?

Hmmm... How about something reminiscent of when you first starting dating? A CD of special songs during that time, a t-shirt or souvenir from where you went on your first date or a favorite hangout, a scrapbook of photos, etc. through the years since you've been together... Ummm, I'll keep thinking.

On our very first date DH and I went to see one of the Police Academy movies. Totally corny but at the time the LAST thing I was interested in was the MOVIE! LOL! I was on cloud nine just holding hands and *knew* he was the one. It would be fun for us to rent that movie now after all these years. We love to reminisce. It always fires up the spark.

Ditto Trina. We do things like that, too! Rayanne, do you normally buy something for each other for this occasion? We've found that after 13yrs. together and 7 married, we've done almost everything as far as buying goes! What about a quiet evening doing something reminiscent, like Trina said? This year on our (married) 7th anniv., we weren't ready to leave dd yet, so we stayed in after she went to bed and played Trivial Pursuit, ate a ton of popcorn (this is something we used to do in the old days!), had 'lovey' time together (LOL) and danced in the candlelight to an OLD song we've always loved. It was soooooo nice!
Even when there's something that dh wants for an occasion like this, I always try to 'do' something so it's also memorable. A new truck liner isn't memorable IMO!
