Would you buy one? If you have bought one are you happy? What specifications should I look for so I get a quality picture? I dont even know exactly how they work. Does it have a memory stick that you remove and download to your computer and then burn cd's? TIA

Don't know much about them, but would also be interested to hear from anyone who does. I have loosely become interested in getting one too....

I have a Kodak EasyshareCX7430 aand Im happy with it for the most part. I had no clue what to buy and so I just bought one like what my DB had.
It's been easier to learn how it works than I thought it would.

I just bought a new camcorder. It has a build in still camera and records directly to a mini dvd, that can be played in almost any dvd player. I absolutely love it. It is a Sony DVD92. The zoom is one of the highest offered and the picture quality is fantastic when recording movies. Now, I have not printed any stills from it, so I am not sure of the quality of those. I have heard from several people that they have not perfected them yet, so you either get high quality zoom and movie capability or high quality still capability, but not both. We have a great digital still camera, so I wanted it more for movies, that is why I purchased the Sony DVD92. The only complaint I have is that the mini dvds that you use to record are fairly expensive. Other then that I have no complaints. I have been using it each week to record my ds's baseball games(to send to their grandad) and I just love it.
