I know you probably said it before. What was the name of the Carnival Ship you were on? You said it was a newer one? Also what ports did you visit, and where did you leave from.
We booked our cruise on the Carnival Valor, leaving out of Miami(Western Carribean).

We sailed the Glory out of Port Canaveral. Here's our itinerary: (Friday-we flew out and stayed in Orlando. Then, we took a limo to the port on Saturday morning.)

Sat- evening departed Cape Canaveral
Sun- Key West, Florida
Mon- Fun Day at Sea
Tue- Belize City, Belize
Wed- Cozumel, Mexico
Thu- Progresso, Yucatan
Fri- Fun Day at Sea
Sat- Arrive morning in Port Canaveral

Oh, I'm jealous! I want to go again, but we have to wait because of the baby. When do you sail?

Ok, I remember you writing about this now..Im just a little slow these days. Our cruise goes to Belize,Cozumel,Grand Cayman,Hondurus.
We dont leave until Aug 2006. Faith will be 2 on Aug 13, 2006, and our cruise leaves Aug 20th. I heard they are very strict about the kids being 2 yrs old before entering the kids programs,as they have your birth certificate on file(or copy of it)so they know :)
Its 14 months away, and I cant wait. Plus it will take us that long to save the rest of the money.LOL

How are you going to manage to wait that long?? LOL! I love the idea of booking ahead, especially through Carnival. I love just making payments. It makes it feel like less money. LOL!

A great message board is: Cruise Addicts They even have their own Carnival message board. It's great for finding out little details!

When we sailed, for the kids to be able to go into Camp Carnival, they had to be potty trained. I would double check about that. I would check out Carnival's Website, just so you know for sure!

I posted on another post about Chakanaab Park in Cozumel. It will be perfect for your family! Check it out online! Happy planning!

Our Travel agent said they dont need to be potty trained..hmmm, and I remember reading on the Carnival website it says they dont but you have to supply all the diapers and wipes. But, Im going to e-mail my travel agent again, and let him double check.. it is his job right LOL

I know it was killing me when we left the deposit for the cruise, I kept thinking it was so far away.
But we are going on vacation next week to visit my parents in the Ft Lauderdale area, and go to Disney for 3 days.. so that is helping a bit with the waiting for next year.
I try to let my kids know how fortunate they are that we are able to do this with them, and share this special time with them.

I looked up on their Website and it says they don't have to be! Excellent! I believe that is new! At any rate, it's wonderful!! LOL! :)
