Can we just fastforward to Friday? Friday the Gunny board lets out and although dh isn't in the "zone" for promotion we know they are looking at him because they called to verify his height and weight. We are not at all expecting him to pick up and its cool if he doesn't but I want to know so I can get on with the rest of this year. Also, Friday is the "Change Of Command" for his unit, the last day of school and the last day dh works before going on leave for 1 week to help me pack. Friday where are you???

Paula, I quite don't know how to explain it, and it might be different for the Marines, but to get promoted to Sergeant and above in the Army, you go to promotion boards. You have to prove your skills, knowledge of UCMJ regulations, etc. I'm assuming Kristie's husband is currently doing something similar, if he's being considered for a promotion.

It's the last week of school and I had to work more hours at the clinic and less at school, so my routine has been goofed up. This week has gone by slowly for me! I'm glad it's Thursday and that the last day of school is tomorrow.
