Most of you know my dh retired from the Air Force a couple weeks ago (doesn't officially retire until September 1st--he's on terminal leave). He got a job offer this morning! He's only had the one interview. Other companies have expressed interest, but not given him interviews. He was getting frustrated, especially since the one company that did interview him has one of the lowest starting salaries of all of them. Turns out they're offering what the other would have!!! So now maybe he can stop being crabby all the time and actually go back to work and get out of my house!!! I have a couple of daycare kiddos that are driving him nuts, and in turn he's driving ME nuts! So back out to the work force he goes. Just wanted to share.

That's great, Cat! Several years ago I went through that crabby, home-way-too-much dh! I used to tell him, "How can I miss you if you don't go away?!" Of course, now I wish he were home more, but at least he's happy! (And I have my house back.)
