I go in for Lasik on Friday, I am very nervous about it! I'm sure everything will be fine, but it is my EYES after all. LOL

Any advice from those of you who have had it done? It's regular Lasik not the new all laser one.

From what I've heard the worse part about it is the smell and that only lasts about a minute per eye. My cousin just had it done and he loved it.

Dh had it done a couple of years ago. The first day was a little rough for him as far as his eyes feeling really dry and being sensative to light, but other than that, he did great. Thrilled with the results too! GOod Luck!

Good Luck, Andi! I have a good friend who had it done and loves it. In turn, her whole family followed suit and had it done. They are all contact/glasses free! Enjoy that!!

I am really excited! I go in at 11 to check in with the doctor, go have lunch with DH and kids then go to the Laser center at 1 and will be out the door and on my way home at 2. I will try to post on Saturday!!

Well I am home and awake and......I CAN SEE!!!! Things are still a little blurry but I can see! It went well and the whole thing, once I was in the surgical room took about 20 minutes, it is amazing!

Thanks for thinking of me. I am off to lay in bed watch some tv and go back to sleep.

Well I have 20/20 in my left eye and 20/25 in right eye and that is less than 24 hours after the Lasik. The doctor said it will keep getting better everyday!!!! The cool thing is I get to enjoy me weekend, I don't have to rest because my eyes feel totally normal. It really is amazing what they can do.

That is so neat. I have to admit I'm the teeniest bit envious. How nice to not have to deal with contacts or glasses anymore! Is the correction permanent?
