Does anyone have this camera? I have decided not to repair my Olympus C-50 and am going to buy something else. We spent around $500 on the Olympus 2 years ago and it has a lot of quirks that I really don't like. It will take nice pictures outside but if you are inside you have to mess around with the setting it get anything of quality. This time I am looking at cameras in the $150 - $250 range and came accross this Kodak on the Dell website. I want something that is simple and quick to use...with 5 kids I don't have the time to take half an hour to get the setting just right in order to get a good picture of them BUT also takes photos that could be blown up to an 8 x 10 if I wanted.

I just bought a Kodak DX6490, and I love it! It was a bit more than what you're talking about, but it might not be there. It was $399 Canadian. It takes great pics, and they can be blown up to poster size. The zoom is incredible!! (10x optical) If it's within your price range, I would highly recommend it.

I have the dx7630 with 6.1 megapixels and I'm not sure on the zoom it does okay i guess i like my other cameras better but just to take daily photos i like it..the one Marcia has sounds great because of the optical zoom on it = ) ..good luck finding one for your price range and that does a great job...i just looked and mine is only 3x optical..

I have the DX4530, 5mp, which is about a year and half old and we love it! It has been a wonderful camera, and was our first digital. We will definitely go with Kodak the next time we need to buy one. We have had ZERO probs and it's so easy to use and takes fantastic pix. Hope this helps.

I also have the Kodak DX4530 that I bought about 2 years ago. It is my second digital and I love it. It's very easy to use and it takes great pictures and video.
