Has anyone ever heard of having a feeling of nausea and then starting to sneeze, then the nausea goes away?

It feels sometimes like my nausea and sneezing sensations get confused and I have both for a few minutes and it goes away. It comes and goes every few months. I did it again today and I told my dh about it. He thinks that is the strangest thing he has ever heard.

I did a search and found a message board where someone was asking if anyone ever felt this, but had no explanation for it.

Just thought I'd ask if any of you have at least heard of this before.

I do it too!!! I never knew anyone else who does this and my family thinks I'm so strange for it. I'll be nauseated for about two minutes before, sneeze, and the nauseated feeling is gone!

I don't feel nauseated every time I sneeze or sneeze every time I'm nauseated. It just kind of comes and goes.

Thank goodness I'm not alone in the weirdo category!

Another weirdo here. I'm like Tink. It doesn't happen every time I sneeze nor do I sneeze every time I'm nauseous.

My physiologic thought on this is that for me the nausea is caused by sinus drainage. Then I sneeze and it goes out somewhere else besides my stomach so the nausea stops. It's just my idea. Who knows if it is right.

My dd absolutely does not chocolate and everybody always looks at me like I'm strange and it has to be the weirdest thing on earth. So I did a thread and found several folks or their dks who also do not like chocolate. I knew it couldn't be that weird and it made me feel a little better to know there are others that have the same issue. This board is pretty cool.

The nausea/sneezing thing--I still think there is a real physiologic reason for it. But who know?
