Hi everyone!!

Haven't posted in awhile since joining, my new baby grandson was born one week ago and they live with me!! Well, my youngest will be nine on the 17th. And I am wanting to have a small party for him here at home, but need some ideas for party games!!! Do any of you have ideas for games for a nine year old boy???

Thanks!!

What does your youngest like? Pick a theme and go from there. Does he have a favorite TV show or sport or anything? My DS will be 9 in August. (Yikes, 9?!) He's a big sports fan and wanted to have a basketball party last year. They did hoop relays and played b-ball games, etc.. For a craft - I found plain white tank tops for $1.50 each and already had fabric paints and foam letters and numbers. They made their own basketball jerseys and had a ball. It was a fun party!

Do you have a backyard for them to play in? Water balloon tosses are fun. A scavenger hunt would also be good. (Of course, I guess this depends on your climate, it's hotter than Hades here already) Congrats on the new grandson!!

trina- your ds's party idea sounded fun. I will have to pick a theme and see what I can come up with. I loved the idea of the tee shirts!!

Crystal- I thought of the water balloon tosses, it's been really hot here, tomorrow is supposed to be 65 and opposed to the 90 degree weather that we were experiencing!
