The party went great. 12 kids came and everyone seemed to have a blast. Several parents came too so that helped in watching over everyone. The day was overcast so we did not need to worry as much about constantly reapplying sunscreen and no one got a sunburn. Addison's teammate (who he shared the party with) spent the night Friday. His friend who lives an hour away came and spent the night Saturday.
Nana and Papa came mid way through the party. They behaved at the party though afterwards we got the usual constant discussion about the sister-in-law. Blah-blah-blah.
Sunday we took the boat out. They sat in back so I didn't talk with them (I was in front with the kids). The kids had a blast on the boat. John went fast a few times and we stopped so they could swim.
We came home and had a cook out (again--the bbq was used a lot this weekend) and they left at 3:00 PM.
Addison had a great birthday weekend and now I am recovering. The house needs a cleaning as wet kids tracked all through the house so I need to get to it.
