Has anyone heard from Candis?

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion Archive: Archive May 2005: Has anyone heard from Candis?
By Rayanne on Monday, May 9, 2005 - 02:28 pm:

I haven't seen her posting today, so I was wondering if anyone knew anything.

By Vicki on Monday, May 9, 2005 - 02:54 pm:

I haven't seen her around today, but isn't it Mondays that she goes to the Dr? Maybe she is out and about today and will post later. Or maybe, she is in the hospital!!

By My2cuties on Monday, May 9, 2005 - 05:46 pm:

I'm here, just got home, I do go to the doctor on Mondays so I just got home for the day :)

By Kaye on Monday, May 9, 2005 - 05:48 pm:

And what did the doc have to say?

By My2cuties on Monday, May 9, 2005 - 05:59 pm:

In her exact words she said "You're killing me" "no change in your cervix" and did an ultrasound to make sure the baby was head down (which she was) and told me to have sex, and walk a little... LOL. She said she thinks I will show some change by next Monday (1 day past my due date) I am going to walk 2 miles a day everyday this week and hopefully things will speed up... :)

By Emily7 on Monday, May 9, 2005 - 06:31 pm:

Glad all went well with your appointment.

By Annie2 on Monday, May 9, 2005 - 06:35 pm:

Your in the home stretch now. All you have to do now is try to be patient and relax. Just think in, no more, than 10 days or so, at the most, you'll be holding your new little dd. :)

By Imamommyx4 on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 - 12:59 am:

Have sex, walk, clean, eat spicy food, and drink raspberry tea and the baby will come. LOL!
That was all of the advice I got. And by George, she did, 2 days before her due date.

By Tink on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 - 01:09 am:

Keep chugging down those buffalo wings! :) Two miles a day should burn them off and it just might help. Any excuse, eh?

By Clarabel on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 - 01:10 am:

...and do some stair climbing!

By Rayanne on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 - 08:14 am:

Drink some Raspberry Tea.
It is suppose to bring on contractions.

By My2cuties on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 - 09:11 am:

I bought some Rasberry tea, but I just bought the Lipton Rasberry Tea individual bags, is there a special or certain type I am supposed to get? I will be on my way out to walk when Katelyn wakes up..

:)

By Rayanne on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 - 09:19 am:

I don't think so. I always bought Lipton too, but the ones in the bottle.
Good luck.
I will keep my fingers crossed for you.:)

By Imamommyx4 on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 - 10:44 am:

I was told the Celestial Seasons raspberry tea. And there is also a coupon on another post.

By Jann on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 - 11:01 am:

Eat Mexican food!!! Always worked for me! LOL

By Rayanne on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 - 11:18 am:

I have heard of people say that pepparoni pizza works too.

By Kaye on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 - 12:12 pm:

Remember not to over do it though, because if you are walking miles and go into labor, you will be exhausted! I know from experience...LOL. Keep a little extra active, but don't wear yourself out!

By My2cuties on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 - 12:20 pm:

I started hurting (like cramps) this morning after I did some laundry and a few house chores, so I am going to rest today. I have been better since I have been relaxing though, it's just getting too close to speed through housework anymore..lol I might take a leisure walk this evening. The baby is rolling around like crazy!

By Rayanne on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 - 12:32 pm:

Awwww. I miss that feeling of Rylee moving around. She was never a big mover or kicker, so it was never bad for me. I hope my next one is more active:).
