How's it going with your car seat dilemma? Did you ever find out why the harness was tight on one side? Were you able to get a good install in your new van?

Hi Trina,

We removed the base and took a little bit off the angle of the car seat.The bucket seat is in the correct position and no longer reclined. It is installed very well, but I will still get it checked if I can get in anywhere.

As for the harness, you have to play with it a bit to get it to tighten well. We have both have become much better at it. DS is now always securely in his seat and I have no more worries. He actually complains a bit when we pull the straps too tight. I think part of the problem was the base and the Camery, it appears that this seat is not a good match for our family and choice of vehicles.

Once the second child arrives I will put him/her in the baby Graco seat which I really liked until he/she is ready for a bigger seat. I will definately be in touch when we need to buy a new seat.
