The worst flu ever

I admit this is just a "give me some sympathy" post.

So last Wed. was my birthday and my kids were sick. You all know that. Then my sister came into town with her family on Friday. My kids were better by then so we all went to our moms for dinner and birthday cake. That night i woke up in the middle of the night SO sick! I didn't know which end it was going to come out of! But after what seemed like forever, I threw up. I was up all night long just feeling awful. The next day i thought i was going to die. I had a really high temp. My dh took the kids bowling with their cousins and more family while i layed dying in the bed. Have you ever been so sick that you were to weak to speak? That was me. At one point i was hungry but the food was waaaaaaay downstairs (one story below) in the kitchen so i had to give myself a pep talk before i made the journey to get some applesauce. Anyway, long story short, i was as miserable as can be. Every piece of me ached. Sunday i felt better but not at all good. We were supposed to have a birthday dinner with cake with dhs family and my family over. Had to cancel that because the thought of food just turned my stomach.

So that was my birthday and birthday weekend. Sometime I will get to go out to dinner for my birthday. I am still not exactly up to par but feeling much much better than i did a few days ago.

Sorry you felt so bad. I'm glad you are better than you were. I know the feeling of "being so sick that you were to weak to speak".. only a couple times have I felt that bad but I can really remember it. Hopefully you will be able to have a good birthday party next year...if you feel up to it, you need to go all out to make up for this year.
