There are some SAHM's that are in my neighborhood and we meet every week for playgroup. 8 of us went out last night to a microbrewery and had a BLAST!
2 of them are pregnant (they had water) and somehow we got on the topic of the sex of your unborn child and how it affects your sex drive during pregnancy.

Many of the ladies who had boys said that their sex drive was higher during pregnancy. (Me being one of them.) One of the pregnant ladies (who had a girl in her first pregnancy) got all excited because she said that lately she just "couldn't get enough"! LOL
What do you think?

I was thinking sex and dreaming sex constantly w/ first pregnancy, a girl. The thought of sex never crossed my mind w/ second, a boy. The only time I thought about it was when I was thinking "hmmm, I gues I should make some effort for intimacy" Never had the desire at all, only did it so that DH didn't have to wait 9+ months for the next time he got some. I never had a sex dream with the 2nd one either. It was so sad. I was so looking forward to that burst in libido.

I have one boy and one girl. My libido was about the same during both pregnancies. So much for that theory. LOL!

I too had a high sex drive during pregnacy and had some weird sex dreams. It was interesting and fun.

I had one of each, so I couldn't tell you. Interesting thought though, especially since it makes sense. Boys=testosterone, testosterone makes you "frisky". LOL!

I had girls all 3 times and it varied with the pregnancy. With dd #1 and dd #2 it was normal activity no change from pre-pregnancy. With this one #3 dd, we have been more active. That is a funny theory though.

Had a girl and libido was greatly increased until the night before (6 hours before) I deleivered. Then it stopped with a crash!!! Wish I could get some of it back.
