And all I have done is the dishes. ahhhhhhh

I am so tired. I dont understand my dh's family. His Dad and stepmom were coming this week to stay over on their way to Chicago. Ok no problem... Well the next thing I know his MOM and stepdad say that they want to come visit a few days before his Dad is due to be here. So I cleaned house all last week (you know- between school programs, a sick husband in bed, and a sick child, soccer, football, etc...) and bought a ton of groceries that are now gone. So then my sister calls and wants me to keep her 2 yo for a couple of days while she goes out of town this week (sun night, mon, tues). His Mom left on Tuesday morning. Yesterday I collapsed on the couch and didnt move. Didnt clean the house back up and didnt go to the groc store. My dh says to me on his way out the door- it'd be nice if you could start mowing the yard. yeah RIGHT!! It'd be nice if he could help clean this blank house. ;)

Do I just have a crappy attitude or what? Why does his family bombard us for days on end. It sounds silly and whiney of me I know. I am a big baby. I just thought it was interesting that his Mom suddenly decided to come visit the weekend before his Dad. grrrrr Not only did they visit they wanted to go out to our property and discuss them moving to it next yr after they sell their house. They want to put their RV on our land and save some money for awhile... uhhhhh why do I not think thats a good idea??? LOL I seem to be the bad guy all the time around here. We havent even owned it 6 mos and dh has his Mom moving to it. No thanks. So if I put a couple of calves up there I get to visit with my mil everytime I drive up to check them or feed. Why am I not happy about that?

I could go on and on-- Sunday was our anniversary-- you'd think mil would have suggested she watch the kids so dh and I could have dinner?? Nah- we spent the day with the kids and grilled steaks and mil and step fil went to visit bil alll day.

Ok, this post is just a huge GRIPE!! Sorry! I needed to get it out before I explode or call my dh and bother him at work with my whining. lol

Did I mention that my oldest ds threw up last night, my youngest has a chronic skin condition and no one can seem to make it go away, my dh is STILL sick with a bug and is having his testing done this week (he had testicular cancer 1-1/2 yrs ago and goes back every few months to do blood work / xrays. I have to get my middle ds packed for a campout this weekend with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission-- the list is a page long of what he needs. My oldest ds is having a huge band program in Branson on Saturday an I am a chaperone we leave at 4:45 am...

I think I must be about to start my time of the month-- because I feel like crying. LOL Great!! That explains why I was eating ice cream out of the carton yesteerday. ;)

I actually feel a little better now!!! LOL

((((hugs))))
I hope everyone in your house is feeling better soon.

I don't like having family as house-guests. I don't mind a visit for a couple of hours, but that's enough for me. I'm the type that has to have everything perfect the entire time they visit. So, it's very stressful! LoL

I hope things all work out and you end up having a nice visit with everyone.

Thanks Breann... I just got home from the school-- oldest ds (7th grade) threw up again. :( He is all settled in and I am going to store now for 7up, chicken noodle soup and crackers.

I am like you in that I want my house to be perfect when my company is here and it is SO unrealistic to expect it to be that way. lol Especially with my crew! Blake just ran thru the kitchen with fresh topsoil on him from head to toe from our backyard. *rolling my eyes* He is grinning and happy tho.

Yikes, Conni! I'd be upset, too!! You need some serious ME time! I hope summer vacation brings you some much needed relief from the kid activities. I wouldn't be keen on your MIL moving to your land, either. In an RV, wouldn't she be at your house all the time to do laundry and such? Sounds like it could turn into a very bad thing, LOL!!

I hope all the sickies get better and you survive your next visit.

Well, fil and stepmil are gone. They were going to stay 2 nights I thought-- but apparently dh misunderstood. They wanted to drive half way to Chicago today! They will stop by for the night on their way back home from Chicago... It was a good evening and morning. Was good to see Blake enjoying himself playing Dominoes with his Grandad. :)

Brandon went back to school today. Was feeling better by last night.

Dh came home for lunch he got the all clear on his tests. So I feel much better about that. lol I dont know why I worry so much.

Brad looked adorable on his way to school today. He was taking a field trip to an old one room school house for the day. He wore old overalls and a cotton shirt, took left over biscuits and fruit in a basket for lunch. They will have class and lunch and recess there.

Blake still has splotches alllll over him. So I am calling his doctor and asking for a referral to a dermatologist I suppose??? I dunno what to do. I feel so sorry for him and I am so tired of putting creams on him that dont work. This has been going on for months. Anyone have any ideas? He just took another Aveeno bath. Poor kid.

Kate-- they will not be moving here. lol I get bad vibes from his Mom. She is *very* different. She gave Blake 1 matchbox car for his bday-- need I say more. lol She is very gossipy and I have found out several times that she isnt passing on truthful gossip. She bought a farm right next to her ex and his wife in the middle of no where?? It was also interesting that dh and bil were looking at buying the same land to hunt on. Next thing they know mil has bought it and moved on to it and doesnt want anyone to hunt on it. LOL! I feel like there would be trouble if she moved here or turmoil of some kind. We like our life and dont want it messed up-- dh and I have had enough problems that we are finally getting worked out. My dh needs to tell them its not an option. He says he will tell them, so we'll see. ;)

As for ME time, I did get to go on a trip a couple of weeks ago without the kids so I cant complain. But since the day I got back home it seems like it has been one thing after another! lol Oh well...
Maybe a glass of wine and a warm bubble bath will help this afternoon. :)

Thanks!!
