Bridal shower favor ideas

I am co-planning a bridal shower for my cousin and we are stumped when it comes to an original favor idea. She is having an Americana themed wedding with burgundy, cream, and navy blue as her colors. We are having it indoors at a local cafe and will be serving lunch and mini-cheesecakes with blueberry and strawberry puree. We don't mind making something or purchasing things as long as it doesn't get outrageous. There will be about 60 women there. TIA :)

How about chocolate covered spoons to go along with your cafe theme? You can make them yourself, and add flavors (i think) local craft shops sell the materials. put theme in pretty bags ad tie them up with her theme colored ribbons.

You could dip the spoons in red, white & blue chocolate. Dip the red, let it dry, then the white, let it dry, and then tip it with the blue...

Those are cute ideas. I'll run them by my co-planner and see what she thinks. Any other ideas out there?

At the shower for my nephew's wife-to-be, we were all given wooden spoons (long-handled) that had the bride and grooms name as well as the wedding date hand-lettered on the handle in silver ink. It was really quite nice and I use it today. The bridesmaids were on a budget so I don't think the spoons were more than a $1.00 or so and they did the lettering themselves so no extra charge there.

Along the same lines as Robin, I held a Bridal shower for my friend, and I got a whisk from Wal-mart for about $1.00 and put hershey kisses and hershey hugs inside the wisk part, then I tied a ribbon and printed out a little note and punched a hole in it and tied it with ribbon around the handle and the note said, "Thank you for sharing in my joy, hugs and kisses from Beth and John (The bride and groom) Really inexpensive and they turned out really cute. The ribbons were the colors of the wedding. Hope this helps.
