I feel like crap!! My stomach is so swollen that I feel like I'm pregnant. The pain is extremely evident after the meds wear off. Now I know that this is all pretty much to be expected, I haven't had a bowel movement yet, sorry to be graphic! And peeing is so hard to do. I feel like a little old woman, lol! Just wanted to vent alittle, hope you all don't mind!!!

I hope you are feeling better soon! Did they give you stool softeners? I was prescribed some after my C-section, so I'd imagine it's kind of standard to have them. Get some rest, I'm sending feel better vibes your way!

Hey, as I recall your list of meds, they've been giving you a lot of codeine - which, having BTDT, I know is very constipating. You should immediately, IMMEDIATELY talk to your doctor about a stool softener. When I take any codeine medication, I always take a Fibercon or similar tablet with it, just to prevent that problem, having learned from very hard experience.

I so sorry to hear that you are having a difficult time with your post op. I have to have my gallbladder out too. *procrastinating*
I hate the idea of having to have surgery! I had a c-section with my dd. And i know how you feel with having to go! That I think was the hardest part of recovery.(besides not being able to bend LOL) I guess it takes a while to the shock to wear off your system. At the hospital they told me to walk around and drink hot fluids to help get everything going again. I would call your doctor to make sure everything is okay, of course! Take care of yourself!

they did give me a stool softener, took it once last night and twice today. I forgot to mention that. Hopefully something will happen soon...!!
