We had plans to keep our 4 yr old DGS and his 2 yr old sister Fri night so my DD and her DH could go out with friends.So,Thurs night as she was trying to get them to go to sleep,they were not cooperating very well(if you get what I mean!!LOL)So,she told Mason"you need to go to sleep,because tommorrow you get to go to NANNIE'S HOUSE !!" He cocked his little head sideways and said,"That don't excite none! Now,if you REALLY want to EXCITE me,tell me you are going to give me some FOOD!Now,THAT excites me !!!!

At first,like the silly head that I am,when my dd started telling me,my feelings were kinda hurt.But as she finished telling me the story,I almost cried laughing so hard.And here's the rest of the story...early the next morning ,as dd was getting her 7 yr old up for school,Mason woke up,literally JUMPED OUT OF BED and ran straight to the kitchen,without returning any of the 'good morning's' he was recieving...jerked open the fridge,grabbed out some yogurt,RAN to the kitchen table...then he smiled at his mommie and said " you told me I could have yogurt!"
