I can't find a new hat (winter-type hat) to replace one I have, that is getting old and tired. So, I found a knitting pattern that intrigued me and I'm going to try to make it. I needed #9, 24-inch circular needles! I couldn't find them anywhere in Sheboygan! Argh. So, I went to http://yp.yahoo.com, which is usually signed into my location and search for knitting stores. I call one about 20 miles away, and they have exactly what I'm looking for! We drove there yesterday morning to buy them, since the woman had put them aside for me. We got there at 11. They didn't open until noon. Well, I had to work at noon. So, we quickly eat lunch at Arby's and cruise back to Sheboygan. Shoot!

DH said, we can come back tomorrow. I told him I couldn't, since I worked at noon today, too! LOL! So, he said he would run up there today, for me!

So, he and Emily took the road trip to buy my knitting needles, let her look at the horse tack shop, down the street and got goodies at Cook's Corner. While at Cook's Corner, they bought a bag of pasta shaped like apples! I can see a pot of chili happening real soon, can't you?

Anyway, I think I'll keep him, if he will drive 40 miles to buy me a pair of knitting needles, don't you? (Actually, 80, since he went twice!)
